品五洲文化，赏异域风情。上海大学第十届学国际文化节暨第十六届国际文化风情展于5月10日在宝山校区拉开帷幕。本次国际文化节以“海纳百川 共创未来”为主题，来自50多个国家的学生参加，上千名中外师生现场参与共享文化嘉年华。
On May 10th,2023 the SHU International Cultural Festival themed “From the world to the world, a better future for all” was celebrated on Baoshan campus of Shanghai University by over 1,000 participants, including guests, professors and students from more than 50 different countries
身穿民族服装的国际学生，以各国时装秀开场，来自俄罗斯、阿根廷、韩国、哈萨克斯坦等国的中外学生们携手共同献上了一场精彩纷呈的表演。
The cultural festival kicked off with a splendid national costume show presented by students from Russia, Argentina, South Korea, Kazakhstan, etc.

After the national costume show, representatives of international students brought the audience with a variety of celebrations, demonstrating diversity, inclusiveness and harmonious coexistence of global cultures on campus of Shanghai University.

Apartfrom a dazzling array of performances, there were also dozens of booths showcasing the exotic custom and cultures worldwide. Participants could visit the booths and get their SHU International Cultural Festival passport stamped as a reminder of this wonderful experience.

“九子大赛”展台是今年的国际文化风情展中最特别的展台之一，通过体验滚圈子、抽陀子、顶核子、挑棍子、造房子、套圈子、抽陀子、跳筋子、扯铃子九个老上海弄堂游戏项目。本次上海大学国际学生九子大赛共设滚圈子、抽陀子两个项目，其他另外七个项目供大家自由体验。上海大学国际学生九子大赛旨在搭建中华体育文化优秀民俗民间项目的平台，让广大学生参与体验，通过比赛激发国际学生对中国优秀传统文化的了解。
Longtang Games (Alley Games)competition was also held as a special event of this year’s International Cultural Festival, including games such as playing with marbles and olive nuts, throwing cigarette cards, rolling hoops, and playing with Chinese yo-yos, skipping with rubber bands, kicking shuttlecocks, and hopscotch. The “Longtang Games Competition for International Students of Shanghai University” has two events: Iron-Hoop Rolling and Traditional Wood-Top Whipping. Apart from the two events for competition, students can also enjoy the other games on the spot.

The 2023 SHU International Cultural Festival provided a fantastic platform and a golden opportunity for students from different countries to collaborate and communicate, building mutual understanding and increasing friendships, thus resounding the theme “From the world to the world, a better future for all”.
